History of project.
Gastroparesis is a motility disorder of the stomach, which means your stomach emptys more slowly than it should. Doesn't sound like it would be too bad, but that is not the case. Patients, like me, don't have many options on what we can do, so right now, we need to change that, and we need to all work together in order to do that.
There's not a lot of treatment options for us out there. There's actually only One medicine that is available in the U.S.A for us, and only two procedures that we could do. We must change that. The 2 procedures that can be done, which are not permenant, or have 100% sucess rate or near that, Also can only be done by a Gastroenterologist Motility Specialist, and there's only a select few in the whole US.
